Ambassador Nalbandian receives Vatican medal

Pope John Paul II has awarded Eduard Nalbandian, Armenia's ambassador to France and Vatican with the highest medal of Vatican, Great Cross of Great St. Gregory, Armenian Foreign Ministry reported. Vatican State Secretary Angelo Sodanon says the Pope wanted to award the ambassador to "honor the country the ambassador represents."
